SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD
Our flagship event SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD is an independent East London music festival held across various venues in Leytonstone, East London.
OGAM Music's Simon Singleton founded the festival in 2017 and continues to curate and oversee this multi-venue event, which sold out in both 2024 and 2025, with over 750 attendees each year.
We manage end-to-end operations, from talent curation/booking to stakeholder relationships, budgeting, and brand partnerships. We have generated strategic deals with key partners (inc. BBC Introducing and local record shop Dreamhouse Records) as well as sponsorship deals with Waltham Forest Council, L&Q Housing, and Trading Places.
The festival has featured diverse lineup over the years - previous include Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Hayden Thorpe, Sophie Jamieson, Snapped Ankles, Dele Sosimi's Afrobeat Quartet, Donna Thompson, Nathan Fake, Steve Davis, Daudi Matsiko, Ethan P. Flynn, and Deptford Northern Soul Club.
In 2024, it received a 4.5/5 average audience rating based on independent Skiddle surveying, while in 2025 the audience rated it 8.9/10.
The most recent SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD was on Saturday 3 May 2025 with unforgettable shows in the magnificent St John’s Church, the wonderful Leytonstone Social and the St John’s Church Hall (a smaller venue behind the main church). One ticket offered access to all the music.
SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD will return in May 2026 bigger and better.
